BLADE - GCH Margaux's Takes Two To Tango

Blade began his specials career in February, winning eight groups, placing in twenty-eight more and winning a BEST IN SHOW -- making him the #3 dog in the country all-breed.  Last year he completed his championship in record time.  This year he earned his Grand Championship just as easily.  Way to go team Blade -- Priscilla Martin, sponsor, Doug and Mandy Carlson, handlers.

BIG NEWS FROM THE NATIONAL  Harley . . .  Beorn . . .  Nicki

What a fun National.  Little Django wins the 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy competition, Stella takes a second place in her 6-9 month sweepstakes class, Miley wins second place Open Bitch, Beorn makes the cut in the specials class, Chumley is Winners Dog, Nicki wins Best Brood Bitch.  Carrie and Decker qualify again for Top Twenty.  WOW!  Not to be outdone, our Harley va-vooms around the ring and ends up as Best of Opposite Sex.  It was a wonderful show and we couldn't be more pleased with all the owners' hard work and the great performances by the Bouvs.

Jean and Paul Petersen's Faye proves her skill on the herding field earning her started title on sheep and her intermediate title on ducks.  Not bad for an older girl shaking off the dust!  Jean was the trainer and handler.  Way to go Faye, CH Margaux's Parfait Accompli HSAs HIAd.  Gunner decided to try his paws therapy work with David Yasutake and started making friends at the Chicago Public Library and at Lurie Children's Hospital.  Fred and Judy Knight's Gracie earned her two agility titles, NAP and NJP, her TD (tracking title), her DD title, (Draft Dog), and her AKC Versatility title -- the all around Bouvier with the dedicated staff at her beck and call!  Ike, GCH Margaux's In Command, earned his Beginner's Novice and Rally Advanced title, trained and handled by Gayle Mitchiner.  Cali, owned by Mike and Tess Hood earned her Grand Champion title, becoming GCH Margaux's One Gun Salute and Harley became GCH Margaux's Va Voom.  Finishing Champion titles were Margaux's Something to Talk About (Julia), Margaux's X-Factor Charlie (Charlie), Margaux's You Better Believe It (Beorn),  Margaux's Anchor's Aweigh (Sailor).  The boys did it in grand style with Beorn taking Winners Dog at both NIBdFC Regional Specialties and Sailor placing in three Groups on the way to his CH title.
